I am a male 60 years old retired from another business and need to work. I have always had a passion to drive a big rigg. My health is good, I am divorced but have grand children therefore, don't want to be gone more than two weeks at the time. Would expect to earn 40K. I do not have my CDL and do not have the funds to pay for a school from what I have seen. Also, I have a concern of loading/unloading. Any direction you may offer would be appriciated. Driving record and back ground is excellent.

I just joined this site. Seems no one wants to help. Well maybe I can give a little help.
There are some companies that offer training. I went thru J.B. hunt since it was near to
me. You will have money taken out of your pay. I drove for a little under 2 yrs. I didn' t
drive for Hunt. It is a whole other world from what you might think it is. You may have a
problem in this economy at your age getting someone to train you.
