Weight Loads
25 mile road in Rochester MICH has a sign showing 3 trucks.
1. Straight Truck single axel and 34T after the picture.
2. Semi 70 T
3. Semi with doubles etc.
Thats what you see going west bound. Now same road going east bound has a sign stating 11,000 lbs. load limit. This sign is NOT a spring reduced load limit. Which tells me nothing larger than a pickup. Maybe this is 11,000 lb. per axel?
My question is what does the 34T mean? Can it be TON?? Seems like too much weight for the single axel straight truck. Maybe 34,000 lbs.? would make more sense, GROSS weight for the bridge.
