We are thinking of going to New Jersey, heard better jobs etc. Has anyone here transfered their CDL and HAZMAT to New Jersey?? If so, what did you have to do? Thanks.

I can't see there being too much a difference for a CDL though, other than the obvious higher fees. as for hazmat, you will probably have to get finger printed again and go through the whole background check thing. I switched mine from MO to CA and that was the biggest issue for me. everything else switched over fine, just had to go get printed again.

that's the funny one. (funny as in involving a whole lotta crack smoking, not really ha ha). when i transfered my license, i didn't. however, about 4 months later when i added my ambulance certificate, i had to retake all of them! go figure that one out.
