I have read on this board as well as others, to hang tight it is "slow for freight this time of year. I understand that, but when does it pick back up? I have three months on the road and it hasnt been all that great so far.......but I have patience just curious to what the old timers had to say on this subject!

i run regional and things here haven't been slow for long this year. we had a week or two of slow freight but things are really slamming here. i think it's more on the area that people live in. i drive by alot of yards out here and truck stops and it seems the "big" corporate companies are sitting more and earlier this time of year than past years. i blame this on the cut throat business on who can do it cheaper and the amount of drivers these big companies bring in on a daily/weekly basis.
