Default How do or will you vote when voting is required.

OK I guess I will start this thread off. I vote for the politician most likely to support the issues I am concerned with.I refuse to get caught up in voting for a political party only. That is a wasted vote as far as I am concerned. I am gonna add a poll just for fun..Lets see what happens.

Default Independant

I registered as an independant. I prefer to choose the candidate that best represents my interests. I believe many people do not take the time to even investigate the candidates and simply vote a straight line ticket. Kinda dumming things down to the lowest common denominator. Such as "duh I dont know the candidates names or what they stand for I just look for the little d or r next to the persons name hyuck hyuck."
A bit simplistic but hey we do not have a litmus test for voting do we?

well i vote each and every time...but i must say the last time i felt vehement about who was running was Regan. and i actually got out there and went door to door talking to people as i felt so strongly about him being a good president. hasnt been another since in my books worth their salt and our economy shows it.

just my two cents for what its worth.

yes I vote:
I think people need to get out and vote if:
they know why they are vote-ing for someone:
not just vote-ing for who their husband said or the people next door said
learn something about the canidate and the issues

Most of the time,I will usually write in a candidate, for I feel about 99 percent of the candidates are pretty much liars and in my opinion,ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS.

I vote democrat because that is what I believe in. And they represent what "I" want.

Thats the thing about living in the USA...we ALL have the right to vote the way WE want!

Ain't America great?

Voting straight ticket is as stupid as voting by gender or race, and almost as bad as voting for liberal democrats.

I have been reading about Ron Paul and he actually has some great ideas and many positions in line with my own.
I think he is a marginal candidate and will not have the numbers or finacial support to win.

Anyone else have a candidate they are pulling for? I have seen where Obama won the Iowa caucas and Edwards came in second with Hillary taking 3rd. I thought that was great. (Hillary coming in last place that is lol). It will be interesting to see what New Hampshire does.
