I am an independant (neither Democrat, Republican, or Libertarian). I choose candidates that best reflect my positions on general topics.

That said I find myself very impressed by Candidate Obama. His mixed race seems to put many off but not me. He is more representative of the current ethnic mix (in this country) than w.a.s.p's (White Anglo Saxon Protestants)are.

His relative young age is actually an asset imo as well. Senator McCain is too old and too representative of the "good old boy" heirarchy in our government.

I am tired of the current Republican administration. Pres Bush has really mucked things up and I see McCain as more of the same.

Based on the speeches I have heard, I believe Senator Obama will make a fine President and I intend to cast my vote for him in November.

I think it is time we give a new, young man, with fresh ideas, an opportunity to change the direction of our; foreign policy, our economy, and our healthcare system.

So in November just say no to the W.O.R.M (White Old Republican Man).
